Copper Creek HOA – Parking / Rules Enforcement Committee 

 

Purpose: The Purpose of the Parking / Rules Enforcement committee is to assist the Board of Directors in developing and enforcing the general rules of the community.

 

Authority: The Parking / Rules Enforcement Committee will have the authority of the Board (according to the general rules and parking guidelines) to:

  • Tag/Sticker Vehicles out of compliance with parking rules.
  • Recommend Vehicles for towing.
  • Send non-compliance notices to owners who are in violation of the rules.
  • Recommend fines to unit owners who are in violation of the rules.
  • Make Recommendations for alterations to the General Rules.
  • Organize and maintain a Neighborhood Watch program.

 

Responsibility: The Parking / Rules Enforcement Committee will be responsible for reporting their actions to the Board of Directors and the Management Company, and maintaining a record of all violations and actions taken. The Rules Enforcement guidelines must be adhered to strictly. Each member of the committee is also responsible for personal conduct, as more fully outlined below.

 

 

Organization: The committee will not be limited in number, but will be overseen by the Board of Directors. One member of the committee may be chosen as a record keeper and another as a Team Leader, the Team leader will not be a member of the board and will be the person responsible for the majority of direct communication with the Board. 

 

Appointment/Removal from Committee: To be appointed to this committee one must be a resident of the community and current on all HOA dues. Appointment to or removal from the committee may be made by a majority vote of the Board of Directors or 51% of the voting power of the association. 

 

Conduct: Each member of this committee is responsible for his/her personal conduct towards fellow homeowners and residents. They are expected and required to be professional and respectful in their conduct. Antagonizing or threatening behavior will not be tolerated and will be grounds for fines, civil/criminal legal action, and summary dismissal from the committee. Conversely, antagonizing or harassing behavior towards committee members by the community will also not be tolerated, and will be subject to fines & civil/criminal legal action.
