Clean-Up Committee

 Purpose: The Purpose of the Clean-Up Committee is to assist the Board of Directors in maintaining a clean, trash free and presentable common area and community for current homeowners and to help in organizing cleaning projects. 

 Authority: The Clean-Up Committee will have the authority to direct and organize community cleaning projects, under direction of the board, and to help in trash disposal, de-icing of sidewalks during winter and cleaning of stairwells, walkways, playground facilities and the Club House. 

Responsibility: The Clean-Up Committee will be responsible for planning neighborhood / community cleaning projects, dispersing salt onto icy walk ways and roads, cleaning up trash around the common areas and maintaining a clean and useable Club House. Each member of the committee is responsible for personal conduct, as more fully outlined below. 

Organization: The committee will not be limited in number, but will be overseen by the Board of Directors. One member of the committee may be chosen as a record keeper and another as a Team Leader, the Team leader will not be a member of the board and will be the person responsible for the majority of direct communication with the Board. 

Appointment/Removal from Committee: To be appointed to this committee, one must be a resident of the community (current on all HOA dues). Appointment to or removal from the committee may be made by a majority vote of the Board of Directors or 51% of the voting power of the association. 

Conduct: Each member of this committee is responsible for his/her personal conduct towards fellow homeowners and residents. They are expected and required to be professional and respectful in their conduct. Antagonizing or threatening behavior will not be tolerated and will be grounds for fines, civil/criminal legal action, and summary dismissal from the committee. Conversely, antagonizing or harassing behavior towards committee members by the community will also not be tolerated, and will be subject to fines & civil/criminal legal action.
